I don’t feel like I understand anything…11 Dec

You say we should try to understand things that are going on, but I don’t feel like I understand anything!!!!

Everyone, including adults struggle to understand things. But, one thing you can do that will help a lot is just observe, watch what is going on around you and try to see patterns and think about how things go. Then as time goes on, whatever you are trying to learn more about will get easier to understand. Whatever thing is bugging you right now, that’s a good place to start! Thanks for writing! – SMW

We are connected…17 Nov

My teacher says that everything that happens effects everyone, and we are connected. But you say in your page about Limits that only a little bit of stuff has anything to do with me. What do you mean?

That is a good point. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to be overly concerned about things that they can’t actually do anything about. That is especially a problem when they aren’t trying to work on and improve things in their own life. But it is always good to be considerate of what is going on with others and do what you can to help. – SMW

You can always help stuff get better….17 Nov

You said in your slide number 9 that that you can always help stuff get better. But I’m allergic to strawberries and I can’t do anything about it.

It sure is hard to have to work with an allergy like that. But, even though you can’t stop being allergic, there is still a lot you can do to help things go well. You can be aware and careful of what to eat or not eat, and you can be ready to quickly get the help you need if you accidentally eat something you shouldn’t have. Then you can feel prepared and be able to relax about it. – SMW

Emotional health….17 Nov

In the “issues” page, you say we need to take care of our “physical and emotional” health. What do you mean about emotional health, do you think we are going to go crazy or something?

Emotional health usually means that you can learn to handle things well so you don’t get stressed out about them. You can learn to feel confident so that no matter what comes up, you can be calm and think clearly about what would be best to do. – SMW

Making a plan….17 Nov

You talk a lot about making a plan for things that happen, how are you supposed
to make a plan?

One way that can help you is to go to the “Steps” slide and that should give you a good
review of a way to make a plan to be ready for whatever could come up. Thanks
for writing! – SMW
